The seventh installment of Synetic's "Silent Shakespeare" series is a modern, provocative take on one of the Bard's greatest tragedies--King Lear. Director Paata Tsikurishvili brings lightness to this dark and violent tale of a king's descent into madness and his search for humanity. This eye-popping production, packed with apocalyptic visuals, farce, knife-play and acrobatics, is performed at the Lansburgh Theatre in a continued special alliance with The Shakespeare Theatre Company.

Stars Helen Hayes Award winner Irakli Kavsadze in the title role and features Irina Tsikurishvili, Irina Koval, Ben Cunis, Chris Dinolfo, Philip Fletcher, Greg Anderson, Miřenka Čechová, Chris Galindo, Renata Loman, Peter Pereyra, Hector Reynoso, Dallas Tolentino, Ryan Tumulty and Matt Ward.
