Star Wars Issues - The Death Star & Alderaan

Agent Oliver and I were talking one night and the subject of Star Wars plot holes came up. I started talking about some issues I had with the movies and we ended up talking for about 90 minutes. This is just 7 minutes of that conversation.
Don't bother flaming us because our facts are all wrong or there's an answer out there to an issue we bring up.Neither of us are that into Star Wars and it was late at night, and we were just talking about whatever. If there is something you want to correct us on, just post it in the comments.

Technological advances like self replicating construction droids where the reason the second death star was built so quickly. And the first death star suffered from massive delays and set backs which is why it took 20 years to build.

From my understand the differences in Episodes III-IV was roughly 20 years, and Episodes IV-VI was 4-5 years.

even wierder is that Death Star II was eight times as big as numero uno.

Actually, number Two was really just an elaborate trap for the rebels and never intended to actually destroy a planet. The Original Death Star was constructed in orbit around a planet in the Horuz system.
