lol mogadishu is clearly the GSG9's hour, "heros of mogadishu" as they were called later, the SAS hat advisors work only and flash bangs were not used, although the sas presented it to the GSG9,...so far to the offical, clerified. just wanted to point it out, mogadishu was the GSG9's babtism of fire, SAS's was in 1980, the iranian embassy sieg.

Reportedly the seals got OBL. The founder was there "the geek", hes a badass. But im sorry the SAS are better. The training is way superior than the seals.

@mrjsnake12345 ppl seem to forget that the SAS CRW troop is only the anti-terrorist side of it. they operate anywhere anyplace. we (public) r used to seeing them in black, hardly the other side of the SAS.

yea thanks for pointing it out ;) ur assumtion is correct, i was talking about the relativly "new" establishes counter terrorist unit of the SAS.

I would have to assume you are talking about storming a building/airliner only?

The SAS were fighting in WW2 so their baptism of fire came long before 1980 lol. After WW2 and before the Iranian embassy siege of 1980 (operation Nimrod), the SAS were fighting in Malaysia, Boreo, Aden, Northern Ireland etc.

22 SAS have been about for ages

I THINK YOU ALL FORGETTING THAT ALL SF SKILL AND TECHNIQUE COME FROM THE SAS AND BRITISH COMMANDOS. IN WW2 THE BRITISH WERE ALONE FIGHTING THREE EMERY THE GERMANS IN EUROPE, THE ITALIAN IN NORTH AFRICAN AND THE JAPANESE IN ASIA.

WINSTON CHURCHILL NEED MEN TO WIN BATTLE AND START ATTACKING THE EMERY HE WENT TO THE MILITARY AND MADE COMMANDOS AND IN NORTH AFRICAN AN OFFICER CALL DAVID STIRLING MADE THE SAS.
