The Hellenic Armed Forces are ready:
1.) to repel any aggression against its national borders.
2.) to mount a successful counterattack against the enemy.
Proud and steady, the Hellenic Armed Forces continue the long lineage of Greek history and heritage, 4000 years of excellence and continuous existence, they are the main force behind the survival of the Greek nation through history. Today, the armed forces of Greece continue the long and proud tradition of their ancestors with dedication and the oath to defend their homelands "to the last drop of blood", as it is written in the oath of the Greek Armed Forces.
