Alan Williamson worked for the 0/10 Network from the early 1970's until ealry this year when he was diagnosed with cancer. Sadly Alan lost his fight on August 19th 2009.
Here is a snippet from GMA with Bert Newton, guest Craig McLachlan and Alan on camera , the comradeship is evident. Alan was a true professional working on YTT, Neighbours, GMA, The 10 News and countless other productions. He was a loving husband and father and for me, the best friend you could ask for, I'll miss your visits, and I will promise to keep the Aussie Music Heritage in your honour

  • Hey....just found this. Im related to Alan.

Every year at Christmas we'd see him and the the whole gang......

I can understand why he is missed so much. Go the Saints!!

  • Thank you for posting this tribute...I will miss the times we had listening to music together on paltalk...he use to love introducing me to singers and musicians that I had never heard of before and then quizzing me on how much I had learned about what he had told me ....

  • Lovely tribute to a lovely man....
