It's feast or famine in the clinic. Some weeks, no patients show up for their scheduled appointments. Dr. James Knutson's clinic was busy Tuesday with two, and his patients came in with health issues that required more than just a stethoscope. A man from Brazil needed Knutson to page a translator to convey his diagnosis and treatment in Portuguese, and knowing the man had limited ability to pay for medicine, Knutson looked for a way to get the man the help he needs but can barely afford.
