"and believe in what ever may lay, in those things that money can buy" <---sends chills down my spine

@OnAFantasy No need to be jealous:you could be like "a kid in a candy store" now. Because: there's all this music available to you here and elsewhere. For free, you can spend entire days listening to great music and never have to hear the same song, twice. Use Firefox with he AdBlock Plus plugin, & you don't even have to be annoyed by the annoying ads. :) We had to wait YEARS for all this music to be made. Now it's all available at once! You can create your own life soundtrack! Enjoy. :)

Summer time late 70s at Blossom ,what a great time for music!

Jackson is unparalleled in his songwriting abilities--particularly with lyrics. This album and Late for the Sky are, for my money, the pinnacle of singer/songwriter talent in the modern era.

@seafoodbob96 Oh...me, too!

Timeless, great, fantastic, and rarely equaled - if not surpassed. Songwriters and singers like Jackson come along only once or twice in a generation, IF YOU'RE LUCKY!!

@unclealbert17 Good God, no - so far beyond and above just mere talent. On the top of the mountain where few have even dared to tread. This is pure, unadulterated musical GENIUS!!

@seafoodbob96 I'm 17 now, and I came to listen to this song because I was feeling a bit like 'the Pretender' at the moment, but your comment made me stop lamenting and appreciate things. Thank you. and I'm jealous you grew up with good music like this. I'm afraid I won't be able to hear songs from my childhood years from now and get the same feeling that this song gives you. You're very lucky.
There are so many prolific lyrics in this song I get chills.
