1960年代に活躍したイギリスのグル－プ
Shadowsの曲です。
邦題は、春がいっぱい。
春になると、この曲が聴かれます。
日本の演奏家では、ギタ－リストの
大村憲司さん（故人）が自身のアルバム
（1979年頃）に、この曲をレコ-ディング
しています。
最近、ギタ-リストの高中正義さんも
この曲を［昭和レトロ］の題名の
ライブ・ステ-ジで演奏していました。
さすが、美しいギタ－・サウンドで
演奏しています。
Shadowsは4人組で、同じイギリスの歌手である
クリフリチャ－ドのバックバンドでスタ－ト
しました。
それとは別に、彼らは演奏中心の活動を始め、
ＵＳＡのVenturesと比較されるバンドに
なっていきます。演奏スタイルは、繊細な
感じのサウンドですが、ＪＡＺＺ的な
アプロ－チでヨ－ロッパでは、圧倒的に
Shadowsは人気がありました。
1960年に全英ヒットチャ－ト第1位になった
"アパッチ"の大ヒットで有名なグル-プです。
今でも、ヨ－ロッパ（イギリス，ドイツetc）には
Shadows フリ－クが大勢いて、
アマチュア・バンドが多く存在します。
メンバ－構成は、
ハンク・マ－ビン（Lead Guitar)
ブル－ス・ウェルチ（Rhythm Guitar)
ジョン・ロスティル（Bass）
ブライアン・ベネット（Drums）
ハンクマ－ビンのギタ－・ワ－クは、
繊細なのですが、JAZZ的なアプロ－チも
みせて、特に、ア－ミングの表現は抜群です。
Spring is Nearly here は、12/8拍子の
作品ですが、実際に演奏してみると、
メロデイ－を表現するのが、かなり難しい曲です。
春の暖かさを表現するには、どうしたものかと
考えてレコ－ディングをしましたが、本人は、
汗だくになってしまいました。
