I heard that an easier way to seperate the worms from the compost is to let them exaust their food resources and just put the food on one side of the bin. This way most of them migrate to one side of the bin. Another solution would be to stack the bins and lets the worms work their way up to the next bin. That would take care of most of the hand done seperation. Its a really good method because it lets you use less time doing it by hand and helps give time to expanding the bins you can have.
