Fed study: Illegal Immigration does NOT increase crime.

Despite what Republicans want you to believe, a 2006 study commissioned by the U.S. Federal Reserve finds that illegal immigration does NOT lead to an increase in the crime rate.

I suspect those last two numbers are "National", which in comparison to the nation as a whole, 25 deaths a day is a minuscule fraction of the number of people killed every day in this country.

@BI30: there are many studies that show my point, and one came out again today. You are wrong again, the low wages they work for (stealing our jobs) don't equate into any real savings for the middle class here. The builders used them to build homes, but the purchaser doesn't get any benefit from it. The builder pockets the extra profit. The middle class gets stuck with the bills to educate the illegals' fucking children, hospital bills, health depts, etc. Get the fuck out.

@TheJaychristopher5 There is no such study (or certainly, if there is, it comes from a partisan source that conveniently omits the cost of higher prices from any of the multitude of low-wage jobs illegal immigrants do for very little money.) Factor in those costs, and illegal immigration results in a net financial BENEFIT to the country. The greatest cost involved with illegal immigration is enforcement/prosecution, not crime committed by illegals (as the study showed).

This is a lie. If you look at southern California (LA County), most of the arrest warrants and jail inmates are illegal immigrants. This is just a precursor of what will happen in other parts of the nation, if we don't get rid of these illegal aliens.
