I've got to say, doing an erg is unbelievably unpleasant.

@nechiken The Concept2 erg was invented by brothers Dick & Peter Dreissigaker of Vermont (USA). Dick was an Olympic rower. Not sure about Peter.

Oops. I accidentally removed the last comment. To answer it, I don't know the guy between Triggs-Hodge and Benton but I don't think that it is Alex Partridge. I've seen Partridge up close and I'm pretty sure that it isn't him there. (I'm embarrassed to not know who it is. He is obviously very good. I should know the rowers better)
