I grew up in Plainfield, IN. Just outside of Indianapolis where the prison was. I remember the day Tyson got out of jail. My father and I went to the jail to see him come out. There were reporters everywhere.

This is perhaps the most popular rape case in the history of the U.S. What's strange is that 2 years ealier on the exact same day, he lost the Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship to James "Buster" Douglas. So you can say that "Iron" Mike Tyson was knocked out twice within a 2 year period.

@Humblenation, it'll take more than just your skewed word to convince me that every man on the planet, if he calls a girl in the early hours, only wants sex. That's a ridiculous claim. I'm not saying that Tyson is definitely a rapist, but it makes me laugh how some nuthuggers claim he's definitely innocent. None of us were there or at the trial, and clearly the evidence presented suggested that he was guilty. The appointed doctor said that Washington's condition was consistent with rape.

Again let's use some common sense. If a man call a woman at 2:00 in the morning, it's usually for sex. He's not calling to say let's play manopoly or something. I'm not saying that it's all her fault but if you look at her history with men, she's always accused men for rapping her especially if she had sex and knew the consequences she'll suffer if her parents found out that she was having sex. So again, let's use common sense. A man calls you at that time of the night, he wants sex.
