  • Nothing beats a round engine on start up.

  • I would like to see Bird Air/LAD Bell Jet Ranger Helicopter

if you have available, Bill Richardson who was produce the film, but never seen one!

  • This aircraft flew over my house two days ago. It looks and sounds fantastic!! A true piece of history! Whenever she's in the air it's unmistakable who's flying around Qualicum Beach!!

  • No, the aircraft was initially built for a customer in Victoria BC. If memory serves me right the fellow was Rob McAdams. The aircraft did a gear up got repaired and then sold to the current owner who lives in Qualicum Beach I think his name is Roger but the last name escapes me for now.

  • I know, I installed it.

  • Right this bird has a Darton system

  • did that ever belong to a Bob Waunch from Orcas Island?

  • Wrong, that "siren" sound is a pre-oil pump.

  • its a flywheel starter, gotta be charged up first, that maks the sirenlike sound

  • Hope you like the video response
