    Sandy was one heck of a creaive force. I remember when he first started gigging around back in the very early 70s. I think no one was more surprised that he finally became relevant to the mainstream a generation after his time than he. Most people didn't know that we wasn't so much a contemporary of Kurt Cobain or even Frank Black as he was of Steven Tyler. I still miss him like heck every day since he passed and thank God for the years I was lucky enough to call him a close family friend.

    So sorry for the loss of your family friend. He has been an inspiration to me for a couple decades now, so rest assured his creative force will linger on forever in people who were never even able to see a concert!
