The role of the pastor is to teach the scriptures to his flock, to pay attention to their individual growth, help them with their personal problems, council married couples, visit those that are sick, make home visits and appointments. He should assume most regular attenders are already saved, but need to grow in their knowledge of the word, and their relationship with Christ

first of all if u look at my comments no where on here does it say from me"your a liar" i never called u one, second length of time being a christian doesnt bring u maturity. its ur intimacy with Christ the living God. lets stop talking about pastor jay, cuz hes not the issue hes just a man with flaws like the rest of us. were called to do the work of the ministry and walk in holiness toward everyone and the bible says especially to those of the faith. all i know is a man of God wouldnt be callin other people all kinds of names cuz the bible says well be judged by our words. and sitting here pointing the finger at another man is just wrong regardless, calling me names really is gonna do nothing for you except show ur maturity. we know them by their fruit, and knowing him he has a lot of fruit, and ive seen the fruit of this conversation with you. its not what goes into a man that defiles him but what comes out.
