Prince Alla and the Nazarenes - Blood a Go Run

There are a few different reggae tunes with this title. This one is late 70s and recorded for the great producer Bertram Brown's Freedom Sounds label. Ras Alla was maybe his outstanding artist and did another cut to this riddim called Only Love Can Conquer.

The sadly collapsed reissue label Blood and Fire did a whole, fantastic LP of his work with Freedom Sounds. Check it out if you can.

Shame this was not on the Blood & Fire compilation, this is one of his most heavyweight tunes with a murderous Tubbys dub, Jah Woosh - Marcus Say is a nice deejay version

They have wound down. They are still selling old stock and the website is running but they are not issuing new records anymore.
