What Happened to me the Other Day:

The reason we decided to film me just driving is because the song is about things that happen to you in every day life. The lyrics are a snapshot of something that happened to me that was significant in my life, and that particular day stands out to me. I bet everyone has significant and life changing days that can either turn your life upside down or feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. I decided to put one of mine into a song.

We hooked the camera up to my little car, and away I went. It was quite scary knowing that I was being filmed driving. You can also imagine the funny looks I got when I pulled up to the traffic lights.

I always think this song is perfect for a drive home after a long and stressful day. It kinda calms me down.

A great musician called Mark Hoogslag plays saxophone. I love his sax part and I think it's my favorite part in the song. I know every note and just can't help humming along to it.

VS 1: As I walked through the door and gave the woman my name,
I really hope they won't keep me in again,
It's the only thing that could go wrong,
I keep telling myself I have to be strong,

VS 2: I got told to sit down and wait,

He kept poking his toy into the back of my leg,
So I went and sat next to a scrote instead,
She smelt a little bit and had a scrunched up face,
I picked up a magazine and stared at the page,

Just don't eat anything it will be ok,

VS 3: I looked up and saw the kid with a toy,
He was kicking the shin of a two-year-old boy,
I glanced across the room to look for his mum,
But she was too busy reading and sucking her thumb,
Her wrinkles were deep and defined,
You could tell she had a lot on her mind,
With the back ground noise of Jeremy Kyle,
And the shrieking squeals of a two year old child,

VS 4: I got told that I was free today,
It only took my five years to break away,
I got told my mum would be proud of me,
I walked with a limp so the parking was free,

And at her age that's sad so I thought I'd mention her,
