Haha, the fear factor aspect of it... A little bit of Pascal's Wager perhaps? lol, don't worry man, when I first read an article about John Marcotte I also thought he was a zealot as well.

Look here I am not out to force people not to believe in whatever I hope they evolve from it and stop indoctrinating their children in it. I just want them to KEEP their faith in whatever religion PRIVATE.

The ones who look stupid are the hypocrites who think their religious beliefs should become law for other people (gay marriage) but not themselves (divorce).
Now THAT'S stupid..And John Marcotte's petition did what it was supposed to do: got you riled up and gave you a new way to frame the issue to others.
You were just a little more, um, earnest about it!

Caveman, I think you're a rare creature: you're a genuine stand-up guy. You get pissed at something that at first glance any Californian who has gone through the insanity of the last few elections might think was real. So you jumped the gun a little. You did it for the right reasons and when you realized your misunderstanding you took responsibility for it and set the record straight. You rock. Keep up the good work.

Hey I don't know if you pay attention but you tube is a venue for people to spout all sorts of things. To vent, to push and agenda, to state opinions, to RIP opinions. I am for this here and in realms that is for.. Now if tomorrow they push to have laws pro islam in this country and to oppress all those that disagree. Then I will be as I stated before. Against it.
You and me going back and forth is a good thing and is why I love this country so much that I'm will to die for it.
