This is an EV1 that has been restored to running condition. Lots of effort by a few key people made this possible with no help from GM!

  • @number1streetracer The Model T is insanely common.

  • Here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the rarest car in the world! (more rare than the Ford Model T)

  • damn it'll be worth a whole heep of cash one day since all the other ones wer destroy

  • Is that a spaceship? :P

I normally don't like American cars, but I do adore the EV1. Too bad the GM management was so corrupt... :(

  • This is the same BS that happened to HEMP. Destroy the evidence make it illegal. I cannot believe how sad our society really is.

  • Blame big oil because Toyota and Ford also did the same thing. Yes they had ev cars as well and crush theres to.

  • How did you manage to get one of these back on the road? The few that wasn't crushed were deactivated and given to universities under the agreement that they would never be pit back on the road. Would like to know the film story :)

  • Damn GM...instead of fixing the flaws, they shut down the whole project, we could of had the Volt 10 years earlier and GM wouldnt be in the shithole theyre in now. I learned about this car 4 days ago and this thing is amazing, I wish GM wasn't stupid...

  • every1 here that thinks the electric car is right, they are great people and gm is a fag

  • It didn't cost GM any money either. The government gave GM 2 billion dollars for Research and Development plus promotion costs. It was a freebie. I think Clinton would have been better off giving it to the military and let them produce the car, then the republican congress would continue funding because they are war fanatics.
