Ecce quomodo moritur iustus nemo percipit corde: viri iusti tolluntur et nemo considerat: a facie iniquitatis sublatus est iustus, et erit in pace memoria eius.

Very good indeed. Not perfect, but still wonderful. As a young teenager, mysteriously, I used to listen to this piece as recorded by the Slovak Teachers (male) Choir (and I still think that is the best version I have heard).
But why "ečče", "pačem"..? You seem to be too close to Italy ;)

If you have any additional question I will be most glad to check them out for you in slovenian network :D our choir sings two of his songs, one of them pater noster, which i recommend to everyone with musical taste

jacobus handl gallus is has slovenian background. I cannot say it is widely known in slovenia, but anyway... he was a composer and wrote dozens of madrigals and motets. although there is lot unknown about his life he represents one of the greatest renaissance's authors. he was drawn on slovenian note in 1991 as the greatest composer of our nation.

The choir is really good. The sound is reminiscent of the Harvard Glee Club and Radcliffe Choral Society under the great G. Wallace Woodworth, which is saying a good deal.

Gallus/Handl was a great composer. His work is deeply spiritual and highly skilled. One piece of his, Ascendit Deus, changed my life -- we sang it all over the place in the Upsala Choir in the early 70s. It's worthy of Bach. The Wikipedia article on him covers his various names, tho I'm still stumped on the original etymology of Carniola, which Wiki says goes back to the ancient Carni tribe which lived in what became Carniola, Slovenia. Searched Handl in Ebay, got that 200 tolar bill showing him!

Ja hura za slovenijo !!!
Drugače je imel gallus še druge vzdevke ne samo Haendl, recimo češko: Kohoutek ali pa francosko: La Coq
english:
hooray for slovenia !!!
Haendl was his german nickname,
he had many others, for example:
CZ : Kohoutek
F: La Coq
All of them mean 'rooster' like Petelin does.
