@Fotclove You might be right. Both movies have a fairy in the water, so I guess it works for both.

@BecomeMyNewCat That's actually one of the really clever things about the movie. If you watch it carefully, they never have a real back-and-forth. There are several scenes where it looks like they just had a conversation, but it never actually shows them having one. This was back when Shyamalan knew how to make a movie.
