Chewing gum spy camera date/ time fix

How to change the date and time on your chewing gum spy camera. This may also work for other spy cameras too.

This is what you have to do.
In the root directory make a text document called TAG
In that document write this

[date]
2010/09/04
23:14:00=

Replace date and time with the real date and time.
Turn camera on, turn camera off. Turn camera on an record. The next time you turn the camera off and on again it will return to default settings so you have to make another TAG folder again if you want the current date again.

can you please figure out how the fuck to get the time stamp OFF the video?, ive seriously been looking everywhere, i have the spy glasses camera and its the same way and it tells you how to do this in the insturctions but not how to remove the timestamp

@ogmike There is no way in removing it sadly. All i do is crop it out in video editing.

For the MP10 you need to change "TAG.txt" to "time.txt" (no quotes) and put the date/time in this format: YYYY.MM.DD.HH.MM.SS like 2011.11.14.14.36.00

It will take the time, delete the time.txt file and save this time on there unless the battery dies.

I have the mini Gum Cam MP10, and i realy can't get it to work.

I dunno anymore, I'm kinda desperate.... hehehe
