On December 23, 2010, ARME rescued two Beagles from a medical testing laboratory. These dogs had never seen the outdoors, walked on grass or felt a gentle touch. We captured their first steps into a kind world. They had also been de-barked and fed only "laboratory chow." ARME will continue with these rescues when it can. If you are interested in adopting or fostering our next rescues, please contact us at: armeteam@gmail.com

  • @044CloudStrife yes i completely agree. every time i see something like this it just makes me sad and very angry. i want to murder all the ppl that treated dogs like this especially beagles because i have a wonderful beagle myself and them just staying in a crate/cage all their life is so sad. im glad they rescued them and is now in good hands. i would rescue all the beagles if i could my beagle means the world to me and i hate seeing them being treated like that

  • @milothebeagle08 I absolutely hate people who think it's funny to torture animals. I love all animals. I feel sad sometimes to be human when I see or hear about this.

  • Also, were it not for animal research, specifically canine & primate, many discoveries such as the cure to the devastating disease Polio and even the human insulin protein so critical the understanding & treatment of diabetes might never have been possible. How many humans owe their lives & quality of life to this type of research. How many of your family members? Animal research should be and is performed as humanely as possible, but to falsely demoralize and demonize does more harm than good.

  • People, please look into this a bit further before making hasty judgments and formulating opinions. Yes, the Beagle is the model for most canine animal research in the US and the world. However, use of canine and non-human primates for research is performed only when necessary. The NIH enforces this policy stringently. Also, a strict set of guidelines for care and comfort are enforced. These include a regiment of activities and socialization for intelligent animals like canines and primates.

  • Hooray to all the folks involved in this "Bless you" ( i think that is the first time ive ever said that to anyone)

  • I cried, this is so horrible, poor beagels :(

The fear in their eyes, omg, i really, really hope they will get

a good and nice family after this. I would adopted them if

i could, but i live in Norway :(

  • 9 people are clearly cat people

  • I`ve watched a lot of YouTube over the years. And this is, By Far, the BEST Moment.

    Thank you for posting.

  • ... do I want to know how a dog is "de-barked"? I couldn't imagine my three being quiet.
