Hello everyone. Luetin here again.

So apparently with the new patch : > Jet & helicopter ECM Jammer should now deflect missiles more reliably when it is active.

I would just like to take this opportunity to say I will be testing and bringing out a new Analytical video post patch. It seems that my original assessment was correct and that the ECM in battlefield is indeed designed to function more in line with the helicopter look forward to the patch coming soon -- LT out.

Great job with this video! i only play heli so for me ecm is the best option. combined with a gunner with flares i hardly die unless i get rammed. do not use ecm to avoid missiles but to avoid the lock on. go below radar when the ecm is cooling down. then the gunner use his flares when needed

In the jet i use E.C.M jammer great if someone is locking onto me i just hit it break their lock and get the fuck out of town

I think in jets when ECM is used you need a platform for the missile to hit for e.g if the missile is chasing you should go straight down and use ECM then pull up leavening the missile hit the ground

ecm isnt reliable for when you are in the air if u guys find it hard to loose missiles please take this advice just when someone launches a missile your immediate reaction is to go down to the ground ecm only stop the missile from hitting that doesnt always mean it hasnt blown up so if u deploy ecm while close to the ground lets just say you will be a dealer of death!

for jets i just use the ecm for preventing the first shot from being fired then i evade the scene and wait for the ecm to recharge

Fly low while ecm is cooling down. Use terrain and buildings to avoid lockon/missiles
