Kamp Dovetail provides the opportunity one week out of the year for children with disabilities to focus only on their abilities. They share in this wonderful experience with over 300 other campers who find themselves with similar and diverse disabilities. They learn how to enjoy life with no boundaries. I have been a volunteer at kamp dovetail for going on 11 years. I am a volunteer group leader for day kamp. As you can see the smiles on these childrens faces that is what keeps me coming back year after year. I have given my heart to kamp dovetail as so many volunteers do. This video is awesome but you really come out and experience it for yourself.

I am the parent of a 19 year old son with down syndrome. i found info on Kamp Dovetail In a book on Ohio state parks. finding places for kids like ours is so hard. This will be his first year and he can't wait. Every time I watch your video I cry! I thought I was a cynical seen it all done it all person but sometimes your faith in others is renewed.

k.d. is the best place to be. i remeber when i was a camper. now im a volunteer.i wouldnt miss it 4 anything. and id like to thank the director 4 all she does. every1 at kamp is my second family and i love them all

Kamp is so cool this was the first time I ever stayed away from home. It was so cool, I love everyone there and they are so nice.. I hope this keeps going forever and ever... Hope to see you there again this year volunteers you are the best. I can't wait to do VIT stuff.

This is the best way to spend a week. If you love kids and have a big heart then this is the best place for you to be... Come out and see for yourself. I did and now I am hooked. Thanks to the great staff for giving my son a place to feel like everyone else and for giving me a place to feel helpful. Kamp Dovetail is the best
