@HunterMann Yeah, Casey's just a tad bit better off than you, with his performances in Gone Baby Gone, playing Robert Ford, his latest peformance was huge (there are reasons for everyone, i guess this was Ben's) and now his brilliant documentary. @rrriccch I always knew this was acting and so did a whole lot of people. Doesn't seem too original really. When I first saw it on Letterman I immediately thought of Andy Kaufmann.
Phoenix pulled the wool over everyone's eyes for two years. Everyone thought he had gone nuts while the whole time he was playing a charcter 24/7. Brilliant. This is something that hasn't been done since the days of Andy Kaufman. No one, including tabloids and the media in gerneral knew he was faking his insanity. Therefore, it is a brilliant, if not Epic acting job.
