When outside agitators come into a community, does one sit idly by or does one take a stand? When outside agitators came into Merrick, Long Island, to rally against health care reform, Yes We Can! Long Island and the Bellmore-Merrick Democratic Club chose to stand up.

Why don't any of these people against healthcare ever have a problem with the fact that despite United Health Care posting 2.9 BILLION Dollars in Profits for 2008, they drasctically hiked their 2009 premiums during a recession? All of a sudden they are crying about government spending after 8 years of a spending billions on a war that didn't have to happen. It goes to show you it is not about the issues, it is about being against anything that doesn't come from their corrupt party.

At first i wasn't all for this health reform but I really think it may be a good thing at least for the people who really can't afford it, But i just hope that all the bad shiit i hear about the bill isn't true!!!

The price of health service and the pharmacutical companies is why the insurance premiums go up. $2800 for 1 catscan or if a hemophiliac needs medication to help his blood clot it's $40,000 per syringe. I've seen a patient take 2 syringes a day for a week. I would never pay that shit. I would just let it go to collections. We need regulation on prices.

Why is OBAMA sending more troops into Afganistan(sp)?? I thought President Obama(as he claimed)was going to make it top priority to get the soldiers out of Iraq??!! Fact is BOTH the democratic AND republican parties are CORRUPT and SUCK!! For anyone to say it's not true is to be in denial or IGNORANT or BOTH!!!!
