I thought the dad in this was a total nonce. If you google it and see the photos from the neighbours perspective it's unbelievable the thing was allowed to be built, he actually built it without approval but then 'punching the air' managed to get his bad planning approved. My sympathy is for the neighbours having the knob head dad parading across their view.

@flajjer23 that's my dad who built the house while juggling three shops and a family and I can tell you that Kevin McCloud is the biggest arsehole you will probably ever meet. even though the fact that you go on the show is voluntary he responds to your hard work that you could squeeze in before shoot with unmasked despise and iritation that your selfless devotion to channel 4's money pile without reward!
