@ScaredPiglet The event was organized by Vancouver Improv Anywhere. The idea is borrowed from the New York based Improv Everywhere who were, perhaps, not the first to do it, but have done the largest events like it... at Grand Central Station. A flash mob "appears" and on cue everyone "freezes" in position for about 5 minutes and stops upon a sound cue from the leader. I just went along with the group and did video of it happening. Hard to video because you don't know who will be where.
