Tikona Fort is so named because of its triangular structure. Way to Tikona:: Mumbai to Lonavla to Kamshet to Pavna Nagar to Tikona Peth and then you start with the ascent. The trek could be considered as easy. With almost no trees during the ascent...one can view the landscpae continuously. The top of the fort offers one a view of Lohagad, Tungi fort, Pavna Dam, 2 lakes, bungalows owned by Mohd. Azharuddin, the former Indian cricket captain, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Mahesh Kothare, a Marathi actor.
