  • Although difficult it helps if you water down the area were your pet has peed immediately after. This will dilute the ammonia in the urine which causes the burn spots to begin with. If it's too late for that then water it down, thatch the spot and spread grass seed. Water accordingly and usually in 20 days it will have grown back.
