Implementing excessive surveillance and "protective measures" against the American people, is not "perplexing" at all. Martial Law is being implemented as the primary police force. This economy is collapsing, just as in Europe, and Americans are going to be forced to pay the tab through harsh austerity, meaning to sacrifice their lives and their children's future to 3rd world poverty overseen by a dictatorial government. The American people need to wake the hell up. We are not in Kansas anymore.
