USC Junior RHP Austin Wood (vs. Stanford)

Wood (6'4" 220 lbs. Florida State / St. Petersburg Community College, Niceville, FL) warms up prior to the first and ninth innings of a start against Stanford at Dedeaux Field.

Wood would go on to be selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the sixth round (195th overall) of the 2011 Major League Baseball first-year player draft.

Wood would earn the victory going eight plus innings, while striking out eight, walking two and allowing one run (unearned) on seven hits and a hit batsman.
