The incredible Russell Mael of Sparks helps out during a rehearsal for the Beatles Sgt. Pepper 40th anniversary in Milan Italy show. that also featured Marianne Faithful, Jarvis Cocker, Badly Drawn Boy, Beth Orton, Alex Chilton, Peter Murphy, Robyn Hitchcock, and The Residents: Backed by the prestigious London Sinfonietta. --Baby Lemonade is perhaps best known for performing as LOVE with Arthur Lee.   • Dis sweeter horizontal stripes is called in France and italy ;MARCEL...is typical of Marseille..even Venice La Spezia ,Nice...since beginnings of XXcentury..in Marseille is easy to find.ask for Marcel type

    I have a sweater and it looks that it's really from Russell ;). You can see it often on foto's. It's black, white, mayby you remember. ;).

  • When I went to the 21 shows in London there were a lot of fans wearing stripes, it was like a official Russell costume :) I wore stripes myself some of the evenings.

    Strangely Russell had taken a vacation from the stripes then, he had a red suit I absolutely adored, it's so rare to see red suits.
