The Swedish folktrio Triakel with their song "Knalle Juls vals (The Christmas Tree Waltz)" from the album "Vintervisor (Winter Songs)" released November 2000.
Allow me to slightly correct the transation of the title. Literally it would translate as "Knalle Jul´s Waltz", but I would suggest "Christmas Tree Seller´s Waltz". This cute, merry and optimistic little waltz was written by Swedens "National Poet" Evert Taube, and is one of the very few he wrote in a winter setting. Knalle Jul is the christmas tree seller, but Knalle is also a Swedish word for a outdoor market vendor. And jul is off course Christmas.
Charming , woke up humming this tune and so glad to find this wonderful you tube clip.

Anyway, a wonderful rendition of the song
