I have to admit I hated the change of costume, the first one is far better in my opinion :P On a closer look, the Dark Knight suit (the mask particularly) looks ridiculous!

I think both Bat costumes look silly; the armour on the DK costume reminds me of the chest detail on Kilmer's suit! Batman Begins bored me; Dark Knight was fantastic even though Bale's Batman is not that great

hmm , the old batman in Begins looked a bit more.. meatier and Buffer! But at a terrible price.. the bulkiness of the suit slowed both the character down, and the actor portraying him. Even tho TDK's costume is a lil skinnier, Batman is more agile now and able to do more stuff. That's what always annoyed me about most BAtman films, it appeared that he was too heavy and slow because of the suit

@b7r7u7c7e It is the very same suit!! And I agree with what you do, the Begins costume was better, he really was intimidating, scary, menacing and most of all A BAT!!! In TDK he looks like a SWAT team with a cape and a cowl!! Moreover, you can hardly see his eyes, he looks like a blind maul, and even if he should look like a blind bat, he is not as menacing as a bat!!!
