Badfinger - Sweet Tuesday Morning

Pretty ballad by Badfinger - Joey Molland's best tune from Straight Up. Nice acoustic lines by Pete Ham.

The song is a very good taste of what Joey brought to Badfinger. There's often a lot of talk about Pete and Tom, and understandably so, but pieces like this show how valuable Joey was in the visions of greatness that came out of this band. A beautifully crafted song.

what's gay about it? few songs are romantic like this without being sappy. it's almost eerily beautiful and somewhat melancholy. they don't write them like this anymore. the acoustic guitars are exquisite

@TheHughjorgann. If you are good friends with him, please apologise for me as I joked about him marrying me when he was over here at The Burswood, Perth, Oz! I feel bad about that as I didn't know then his wife had died, & so recently. Probably I was one of many, but I wish I'd buttoned my lip! Great show Joey & Terry!

This is beautiful and the version on their LP record is even better and somewhat haunting. That version has accordian in it and what sounds like a mandolin.
