I couldn't resist.
And if you've seen the other two, you are either very happy or rolling your eyes seeing that I have created a third Tangled music video. But that is not all! There is a fourth! I will save that upload for a later date however, see the reception this third gets anyhow.
*SPOILER ALERT!*
The difference with this third one is the concept, I explored more the concept of the song, the idea of dying young, Rapunzel reflecting this, the parents believing they lost their daughter; but with a twist, that in the end its her love that dies young.

There's something about this movie, being one of my most treasured favourites, that lingers even when I'm listening to my playlists. And when there's a song that I've listened to a number of times, and there's something about it I want to capture in a music video, I can't help but begin to map it out in my mind, until I finally cave and create a video.

There are many more music videos I've made this summer, most for a friend's birthday, but I will begin to upload and share them periodically, and I hope you get as much enjoyment out of watching them as I do creating and thinking about them. I do this for pure enjoyment (I wonder why I do) But it's entertainment for my self and what I hope I'm also bringing to other people. Cheers everyone, happy summer!

I do not own the song or the footage. The song is If I Die Young by The Band Perry. The video is Disney's Tangled.

  • Great music video :) Your the first one I've seen who used the clip with Rapunzel's parents crying. I have no idea why, but I think I was more closer crying to that then when Eugene almost died...

  • @basktbalG Thanks a lot :)

And yes, I felt it was an important moment to use, especially with the lyrics talking about the idea of having to bury her baby. And yes, they really captured the emotion in that scene, it was rather heart-wrenching.

I must say though I was equally teary-eyed for both moments, as they captured two different emotions, one of loss and the other loss due to unconditional love, and the big twist of Eugene's real sacrifice. OH such a good movie! :)

  • I love it!! :D :D It was really good! :D

  • @BoomerAANGProduction Thanks very much! : ) I'm so glad!

  • That was so sweet.

  • Amazing video - I wasn't sure if this song would fit but you totally convinced me otherwise, it suits Rapunzel and her parents' relationship so well :)

P.S. "I can't help but begin to map it out in my mind, until I finally cave and create a video" - Hahaha I'm with you there big time!

  • @basktbalG I know, the king looked SO sad that sad doesn't even describe it. It looked like pure grief.

  • @SKanga15 Though I kind of saw the life-giving tear coming a mile away.

  • Great job:)

  • I am hooked on Tangled LOL I have never enjoyed a movie as much as this one I laughed,I was shocked(when I discovered Rapunzel was actually a brunette and NOT a blonde),I cried my eyes out like a baby(when Eugene died ..........don't worry folks he comes back from the dead again alleliua for Disney) and I ahwed when she married him in the end. Mandy Moore & Zac Levi brought back my childhood.
