@ronptech Jesus and Christianity have virtually nothing to do with one or the other. So, a reference to Christianity cannot be tied to Jesus from a historical perspective. The link is (politely) something else. Christians ARE Christianity in the same sense and manner that Americans are Americanism.

the "white racist media" didnt lie to you, you idiot. this is not one of the sermons where he was ranting about his racist ideas...i have not seen a single news program that said every time he speaks, he says something racist...there are many videos on the internet and news that show him saying some pretty terrible stuff...actually watch videos for yourself before you start calling other people racist

I'm yet to meet anyone who never gets upset and I have met very few people who don't sometimes voice these things. I practice Buddhism myself and I could be wrong but I personally feel that we should be able to feel/practice compassion for people when these things happen.

People say he's anti-semetic yet he points out how Christianity historically is antisemetic - and condems that. He is inclusive not exclusive. I am white with a european centred thinking - if his is african centred, so what. He doent say one is better than the other.

I think you meant Christians representing Christianity have historically been anti-semitic, not the body of Christ.

If Christ was Jewish but Christians believing he was the Messiah and pushed the Christian agenda were anti-semitic, what is that saying about Christians and Christianity? Donkey had it right, this is just an observation by Wright.

Christ was Jewish - that's a fact supported by the Bible.
It says nothing about Christianity, only those who define themselves as Christians and push antisemitism.
Not all those who profess Christianity demonstrate anti-semitic behaviors.
Remember it was the Romans who killed Christ.
