The Cowes-Torquay-Cowes Offshore Powerboat race filmed from Portland Bill point where the boats normally cut the corner as tight as they can get away with. There was a nice chop on the water making it tricky conditions for the racers. This was filmed on my Panasonic DMC-FZ28 digital camera, not strictly a camcorder but done quite a good job anyway. Filmed mostly from the point but a couple of shots from the top of Pulpit rock which was not the best idea! (Thanks Andy!)
Wonderful video, thanks so much for posting

I wish we had gone to portland bill, we sat just off Gernard and missed anything, then the finish line was pushed back from cowes. Dry Martini looks the same as it did in the 70s.
