I tend to prefer 357 mag in a revolver with a 3" barrel but that is because when was young and learned to shoot, that was the type of guns I learned with. But I do love my 22lr auto pistol too. In reality caliber is the least important of the 4 important points of shooting: accuracy, speed, stoping power, capacity.

In short: it doesn't matter how many bullets you have or how powerful is the ammo if you can't hit your target when you need to.

if you use a .22 ,dip the bullet end in rat posion, that way the blood will not clot.

for bullet proof vest use a .22 cal.

you can also place a BB in the end of a .22 hollow point(super glue it in place)

and it will penatrate the vest also.

full metal jackets will also penatrate the vest.

but the trauma plate may stop it.

always go for the head shot or the groin area.

the legs are also a good area to shoot to stop your attacker.

A 45 means 45/100 of a inch thats damn near half a inch in bullet and people who dont know that keep saying that a 10mm is better or a 40s@w is better.

P.S a 10mm is the bigger brother of a 40s@w.

about how long does it take you to unload and reload your mag for glock if you had to reload it lets say in a firefight or just at the range to see how fast you could reload it?
