we play this alot at college, but how come in this game they only ever pull shot and drag it. are u allowed to do straight shots

I can see how you think that, but it's harder than it looks. The video camera does not do it justice. The raw power and speed needed for shots or precise control to shoot and catch a pass is difficult to obtain or even understand in a video forum. I agree pub or bar play is more fun, match play is very stressfull.
Find a good player and try it sometime. Sport vs Game: Definitely a skillfull game. Fat guys can play! But it helps to be in shape.
