i remember standing on the wigan bus station waiting for the 1st bus back to blackburn ,had to change at chorley november bloody freezing in a t shirt , but all that was echoing through my head was this record haunting me while i drank a cup of hot chocolate and shivering .(give me the love im needin) it kept going on and on and on. i had to get this and still have it
@pvalli, thank you for your contribution to this magical song. my friend and i used to love this record way back late 70's, then i managed to get a copy... we then treated it like it was some magical talisman!!! lol great, happy youthful days
and yes, this record was loved and danced to by many people, back in the days of the all-nighters- NOT by any means, just wigan casino.
Well this blew my mind. This is the Frontiers which Roger Koob was the lead singer. I came across it and couldn't believe it. I played lead guitar and sang vocals for the band. Its great to hear this song again a lot of work went into making this record. Please check out "Frontiers You" which was the record we put out before this. Let me get this right. Wigan Casino was a club where they played soul music that was not top forty? Thank you for posting the song. I don't even own a copy.
