Murphy Campaign Releases New Ad

In this television ad, which began airing Friday, August 11, Chris Murphy, the Democratic candidate for Congress in Connecticut's Fifth District, responds to Republican Nancy Johnson's latest misleading attack ad against him. The Johnson campaign is lying about Murphy's record on taxes by telling voters that he has raised taxes during his time in the legislature. In reality, in the eight years Murphy has been in the legislature, the budgets he has supported have resulted in an overall tax decrease of $295 million.
