There was a well known water master man
He was the king, he could do anything
The Saint Francis Dam disaster man
Thought she was alright, until around midnight
Because that water seeks her own
She had a desire to flow, she was looking for somewhere to go.....

this song is so powerful...a biography of the water that devastated a whole region in south america. "the beach was scary" i bet...water coming towards the ocean...(shudders)

This wasn't about South America. It's a direct reference to the failure of the St. Francis Dam that was located north of Los Angeles and the related fallout for William Mulholland who was in charge of the Department of Water and Power for the city.
There was a well known
Water master man
He was the king
He could do anything ~ all about Mulholland
