So this is my band, Jam Jones and the Bandits. We played a show on Oct. 30th at our high school and played around a 30 minute set. We had a ton of fun playing this show and we sounded decent!

The sound was pretty bad, but it was better than our show at Next Big Thing. Plus, there is a better camera angle this time, so you get to see the drum solo, Alex's guitar solos, and my goofy singing face!

We will hopefully be recording around Thanksgiving. Curtis (Scibelli, drummer) has a brother who majors in reocrding software and music stuff, and he's comming to our town this Thanksgiving, so we're gonna take advantage of that chance :)

Go to myspace.com/jjatb to stay updated on our music. We have much more in our arsenal than what is shown on YouTube.

This is a sweet song. We like it, and the drum solo, of course, is frikkin crazy. This isn't Curtis' real set though. It's somebody elses.

  • The music is the same as Charlie by RHCP.

    Verse is the same.

    Chorus is the same.

    Tempo is the same.

Except there's a mediocre drum solo.

The solo sounds like Frusciante if he tried and failed to shred.

But hey, at least you guys wrote a song and got a gig. More than I've accomplished, so bravo.

Well, if you want to go that deep, the chord progression is I, IV, V in the key of G. There are hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of songs with that progression. Suck it.

  • drum solo much

  • yeah our drummer sucks hahaha

Damn, this was a while ago, forgot about you guys.

Yes, there are tons of songs with that progression, but that's not the only thing that's similar.

Just 1 other song has that verse going into that chorus at that tempo in that key. If there were no vocals, this would be a bad instrumental of 1/2 of Charlie.

The very unique rhythm of the guitar on the verses is nearly exactly the same, and considering RHCP is one of your favorite bands, I doubt this was a coincidence.

  • this song is sik

  • sideburns.
