its not "based" its "inspired" They learned about maraiah's storm while filming. Only things thats the same, horse hurt leg, horse came back.

You don't watch enough races. =P Check out Magnificence and Ready's Echo - Echo especially, his maiden was INSANE. He came from a complete different zip code to lose by a nose. Oh, Silky Sullivan was well known for coming from the back, in completely unbelievable ways.

Great video! I have a question, since I am a novice at horse racing.....why does it look like at some times the horses are holding their heads sideways or even running sideways when they come around a corner? Seems to me that would throw them off balance or am I missing something? TY

This is a real nice video, well done. I worked for the farm in Louisiana that catered for the horses used for filming and was in charge of that barn. Great memories.
