For people having these symptoms like they see some LSD trip, it possibly is because of the adrenal gland is exhausted. Look it up, heal yourself and get on the Weston Price diet.

I've had these since real young, like 5th or 6th grade. The worst part is feeling like you're the only one in the world with them. It feels so good to hear that in fact I'm not alone.
Mine usually come on the right side of my vision and proceed to the absolute worst headache pain imaginable. It's the worst.

I've had these since I was very little (like 5 or 6). I know exactly what you were talking about and it's nothing to stress over. I get them so bad my right or left side goes numb and can't talk and my head hurts suuuuper bad. It's an awful disease. ;/

Visual aura.I've had them since I was 12. I am now 39. The pain after the aura is horrible. Sometimes people have the aura and get no pain. I haven't watched any of your other videos but there are other aura's too. Numb hand, arm, weak hand arm, tingly half of face of half of body. Phantom smells, vertigo, nausea....all stroke symptoms. Speech propblems, confusion. They are hemiplegic migraine. It's actually epilepsy related. We don't have 1 of 3 proteins involved with nerve conduction.

wow, this has answered many questions!. it happened to me the first time about 5 years ago and i was so scared i didn't know what was going on, it started off me not being able to focus properly after that i felt sick (maybe due to the nerves), and then i started seeing the aura with loads of different pyramid shaped cones of different colours usually flashing,

after that i got a terrible headache and i could even pinpoint where the hreadache was, i thought it was a stroke or something to do with the retina. it has happened to me 4 more times after that, usually when i have been drinking alcohol, milk, or smoking. thank you, the cheese does make sense to me, i started to think i was allergic to dayry products, and this might be just it, im going to get rid of all of it.

Google "scintillating scotoma"

Took me some years before I (today) finally managed to google the right things to find out that what I experienced was ocular migraine.
-
I've tried it a couple of times too, and it's really hard to read while it goes on, cuz you can't see the whole words.
not on skype i see

It's that crazy backwards tunnel vision from migraines.. yes I know what it's like.. like you looked into a bright light.. odd coincidence that this is the first time I ever mentioned the fact that I get migraines all the time and then you got one and posted about it.. Did you watch my video?

@cashpath No, I haven't watched your video yet...I'll go check it out in a few minutes. I get migraines also, I just had never had an ocular migraine before. It really freaked me out because I couldn't see directly in front on me...then as it started to move outwards I had these silverish sparkly circles in my peripheral vision...then came the migraine and that put me down for the count to the point I couldn't even move. I took Excedrin Migraine which helped some...it eventually eased up.

@ShiloSugarbush I slept for 16 hours after mine.. of course the hydromorphone helps a little with that (yes prescribed.. the only thing that helps at all.. vicodin didn't touch them)

@cashpath I don't take many conventional medicines. I'm more of a "wrap the ice pack around your head and try to freeze your brain until it eases up" type of girl. If that doesn't work..I take Excedrin Migraine to take the edge off like I did this afternoon.
