The scratch - I call it CatRub - always brings the (((((Purr)))))).
Yes, you can also get washed. You can even get "cat on chest", head-bonked, & kitty will fall asleep on you, w mighty purr - the height of flattery.
We are either their Mom, littermates, other cats, or all 3. Any appearence difference is just coincidence to them, if you speak Cat, & they dig you.
