@MsXSTurner Really, I just got pissed about this whole fucking debacle because Troy Davis by his own admission was not a good person, he wasn't some random innocent person picked on for the color of his skin. At BEST, he was the guy tooling around with the guy doing the shooting, which makes him a piece of shit no matter what color he was. All this support for this guy really demeans efforts towards real racial equality. Just because he's black doesn't mean he's a good guy, you know?
@MsXSTurner Yes I know it's childish, but it's also provides a release to pick random people on Youtube and generalize at them, as you don't usually have to deal with the reality that nobody falls into those generalizations, everybody is a complex individual. I also have come to understand as I've grown up that the South is kind of the opposite of Southern California; racism surely exists there in a way it doesn't here (where I grew up I was the minority).
@rudygetsplenty I grew up around white ppl and thought I was white until i attended an HBCU and there I learned about my culture and heritage and how it became what it is now. i will never charge the white community now based on the pure evils, ignorance and stupidty of their ancestors. I am apart of my comunity and I see no color lines but in regards of this trial and what Troy went through, whether if he was white, black, orange, blue or friggin green let those ppl fight for their rights
@rudygetsplenty To call names is a little childish. I will admit that African-Americans as a whole do not and cannot accpet being a part of society b/c in the SOUTH to b more specific it still lives. I live in Savannah Ga and I will be the first to say that I see it everday. The white children DO NOT socialize with the BLACK kids unless its about sports;I can care less abt skin-if I did, I wld teach at an metro school where majority of children are african-american.
Its not about race, its about right and wrong. What happen to Inocent until proven guilty. This did not happen with Troy Davis. He was not proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. There was so much doubt. And the cops were trying cover all this up. Which is why they excluded Troy Davis's family from a lot of the hearings.
@MsXSTurner Nope, if Troy Davis was my family I would weep for him, but not fight for him; I'd turn his stupid ass in. Of course I give a shit about right and wrong.
@MsXSTurner You've always been equal, dumb shit. The problem is you'll never be part of society, because you don't WANT to be part of society. Most white people don't want to give a fuck about people's race, they don't have a choice because people like you are Black First, American Second. You care more about the color of a man's skin than the content of his character. You're stuck in 400 years ago and can't tell white people today apart from white people back then.
@SL8R71 Racism is the glue that holds the law,Constitution & government together b/c last time I checked (and Im a TEACHER-A BLACK TEACHER) that NO African-American man was invited to sign the declaration of Independence nor was he invited to help write ANY of the drafts to the Constitution. So...what does that tell you? The African-American was not, is not and will never be equal to the white man b/c we were not simply thought of in the first place. We know it & the Caucasian community knows it
@SL8R71 It bothers me that people have a problem with what these people did and had to say. If u don't like it, DON'T WATCH THAT CHANNEL, don't SELECT THAT VIDEO TO WATCH...its like your provoking yourself to act ignorant & that is insanity-look up the def.if your lost.
Looks like the Welfare line to me, sho' nuff!
